NEW PLAYERS wishing to enter the mini leagues may do so by challenging players from the division they wish to enter. (You should challenge more than one player.)

The results must be put on the challenge match result sheet as soon as you have completed the matches You will then be placed in the appropriate league at the earliest opportunity.

LEAGUE DURATION - The leagues will run for a period of twelve weeks, ending on a Friday and re-starting the following Monday, where possible.

SCORING - Points are scored for each game won in individual matches; two points for winning the match; one point for playing.

PLAYER MOVEMENT - Where possible the TOP FOUR PLAYERS WILL BE PROMOTED, the BOTTOM FOUR PLAYERS WILL BE RELEGATED.

However, This may not be possible in all cases I.E. Where a successful challenge has taken place. To gain promotion, you must score more points than the player in the relegation position in the division above

PLAYERS FAILING TO PLAY ANY GAMES - Any player failing to play any games will be dropped from the leagues without prior consultation (unless a genuine reason is given), and will be required to challenge back into the leagues.

All players should ensure that they play all games in each session to ensure inclusion into the next league Every effort should be made to make yourself available for matches when contacted by a fellow player.

Games are to be played in accordance with the England Squash rules of the World Singles Game, effective from 1 May 2001. Also in accordance with the rules governing the use of this centre

POINTS MAY ONLY BE CLAIMED IN THE FOLLOWING SITUATIONS: A. Your opponent fails to turn up for a pre-arranged match. Result 6-0 B. Three prior attempts have been made to arrange a match without success and no genuine reason has been given to the organisers. Result 6-0

PLAYERS WHO ARE INJURED ETC. - Players who have notified the organisers of injuries or genuine reasons for being unable to play matches will not be dropped from the leagues but may be relegated to a lower division.
